Default Ferroli 77FF

I have just replaced the PCB on the Ferroli 77FF boiler.

When replaced the CH side of the boiler worked fine but then cut off after about 6 hrs

When the control is set to HW and the HW tap is turn on relay no 1 (CH Pump) energises!! is this normal?

However when the control is set to continuous HW/CH the light sequence is correct and the boiler goes through its process but after 30 secs of the boiler firing up the CH Pump relay de energises thus cutting off the central heating as the safety devices will not allow the gas to burn without the CH pump working.

I live in Swansea south wales which is a very soft water area

Do any of you have any ideas what could be causing the problem. The reason why the PCB was changed is the boiler is 14 years old and old age took over.,

I would appreciate your thoughts my first reaction is the pump but unsure as it seems more electrical than mechanical

I thank you in advance and failing to resolve this I will need a welder to reinstate my pet brass monkey to his prime!!

Regards

Neil
