securing a toilet

Hi, can anyone tell me the best way to secure a toilet onto conctete securely, i have tried different ways, but the toilet becomes loose after you sit on it a few times......
Size and type of screw or bolt, types of raw plug if any....
Any info would be handy.

I've used resin mortar to good effect in the past. Drill the fixing holes oversize, inject mortar into the holes and run a bead under the base of the pan. Then bed the pan down and push a couple of brass screws into the fixing holes. An up to date version of the old standard of bedding it on mortar.

make sure the pan isn't wobbling about on an uneven floor, use shims around the base to stop it moving about. If its sitting "steady" you've got a much better chance of securing it.
