accumulator tank
i am going to install a multi fuel stove to heat an accumulator tank. i also have a gas combi boiler. is it possible to run two completely seperate systems for dhw and central heating. i was thinking by having three way valves on the central heating circuit this would keep the two systems seperate and then i could still use the combi when i dont have the heat in the accumulator.

Re: accumulator tank
Whats the purpose of the accumulator ? If its hot water then keep both systems separate
and install a dual coil cylinder - one coil from stove and one from boiler.
Beyond that you are entering the bermuda triangle zone with stoves etc. wrongly planned, poorly fitted and you have a domestic bomb - see other threads on this forum.
