Default brass olive on hep2o pipe

had a compression fitting blowoff on a hep20 pipe. no damage to pipe and insert still inside fitting. had to use spanner and grips to remove. olive in place. everything as it should be. only possibility is the olive made of brass which is harder to compress than a copper olive. anyone else had anything similar?

Hey matey, it's been said (somewhere) that you should only use copper olives on hep. simply so hat it will compress in to the plastic properly.

im sure i've still used brass olives on occasion though
