Default plumbers

Right granted am a newbie (as the saying goes) but am wondering if this is a forum for plumbers or diy people?
Have been reading a lot of threads and it seems most are from people who want to do there own plumbing and gas

This scares the living sh*t out of me some of those questions...am sorry ..but it does.
Am also scared by the 5??week course plumbers...some cant even hold tools never mind do the job...but expect to get same wages etc as a real plumber.
YES I posted about using a bucket as a toolbox...but on sites they are the best..I use proper toolboxes when in people houses (it was ment to be a semi joke )...but some of the questions I see on here are

No wonder this trade is going down hill
Spent 25 years learning and am still learning daily....how are you supposed to get experience if you dont start at the bottom? and properly....
Am sorry for this rant but its starting to get to me ...I cant take a course to make me an accountant or doctor in 6 weeks so how the hell do u think you can be a plumber in that time??? I thought that all these bloody courses ( at great expense even when on the books )were to stop all this ??
AM seeing more and more bad plumbing jobs and most are by 'plumbers' with little or no qualifications.

Are there any really plumbers on here?

I'm confused by your post. In line one you state "Granted I am a newbie..."

In the last paragraph you stat "I have been plumbing 25 years..."

Am I misreading something?
