Default Vans, good ones & bad ones?????

hi all,
what kind of vans do you all have, and what was your first van like?
and have any of you had a van that you would definately not reccommend to anyone due to any reasons?

i currently have my eye on a ford escort van as the VW polo is getting a little cramped hehe. any advice on whats good and whats not would be greatly appreciated. cheers everyone.

Hi, I'm very new here but I thought I would give you advice on what not to get

Escort Vans are a good bet, cheap to buy, cheap to run and sort out when they go wrong. If you get a good transport they're a good bet too.

My advice would be to stay away from Renault Kangoo's, without offending anyone, they really are pants as they go wrong for a pass time. It might be the case that latest ones are bit better, I think it's the 1999 to 2003 that is really poor.

I dont have a van... But we do have a vehicle worthy of the credit crunch..

60mpg.
£7 per month to insure
£2.90 per month tax.

smart car.

You'll be suprised the boots are quite spacious, all you need is a roof rack

The Unguide Missile is the best van in the world, my beat up old long wheel base semi high top transit, I can get everything I need in it, and when i'm driving down the road its better than an ambulance with blues an twos, becuase its that battered they probly think its got no brakes and get out of my way ( their usually right ) I've had it since 98 it doesnt owe me anything and I'm a sentimental old sod. The drivers seat is now perfectly shaped to my beutifully formed bottom and If I got a new van now It would probably throw my back out
