City & Guilds or EAL?

With new courses coming out for plumbing qualifications there is another provider of certificates.
Both EAL and C&G will offer courses in the NVQ diploma level 2 and 3.

Would you be bothered if your qual had an EAL stamp on the top and not a C&G stamp? Does it matter? Do people still ask for a city and guilds qualification or an NVQ qualification?

I personally wouldnt care as long as it meant i was a qualified plumber that was able to do a job competently !

personaly i dont think it will matter that much, its just how long it will take employers to recognise other quals compared to the c&g.

Any people who employ here? Can they give us feedback on this?

It won't matter who the qualification is through it is the end result that counts. Do you think anyone would care if you had done your ACS through CITB, BPEC, NICEIC or whoever?
Personally i wouldn't employ anyone without a JIB card but perhaps that is just me

Thanks for the feedback. I realise it doesnt matter but do people out there realise it?

im still not convinced, could any newbies tell me if it would bother them who gave em their certififcates?

anyone got an nvq in plumbing or tec cert from EAL?
