Train 4 Trade Skills - Information needed?
Wow I am now really confused, my husband (32yrs old) has been studying the T4TS course for the last year & a 1/2. He works for my mum & dads family run business, he works 14 hour days with not very many days off (I know not many would put up with it). Hence the reason for taking this course, he wants to change career but cannot go to college as his hours are unpredictable. This was his only other option to change career to something that he was interested in, he doesn’t think that this is a quick & easy course by no means. But he has been told by a family member who is a plumber that you cannot replace or skip on the job training. So what can he do, we are too far into the course to cancel as some people have done & the feedback I am getting from the experienced plumbers on here is very negative.
Like someone else has said he has, DIY experience, good people skills, hard worker, a clean licence, responsible, reliable, honest, keen & willing to learn.
He is trying to change career for the better, he will not mess people around like some of the younger people.
If I find out that this course is a scam like some of the other people are suggesting then I’m not sure what we will do, it will be a lot of money that we can ill afford down the pan!!!
Please can someone shed some light on this for me?
Thanks in advance

plumbers are not negative, you are confusing being negative with being realistic
you need to tell us what the course is before we can comment, which plumbing course is it and who is the awarding body please as there are many
