Underfloor Heating Manifold - what brand?

Hello, You could change the actuator head however you need to know the voltage, thread size and ideally the pin stroke. If you have all these please feel free to give me a call or drop me an email with the details.

Wet underfloor heating adding a rad.

You could do this, however just beaware that you won't get the normal flow tempature through the radiator as UFH runs at a lot lower flow temperature.

Two seperate manifolds on two floors

What sizes are the manifolds? If they're under 12 ports in total you could run the system off one pump and have a T after the pump going to each manifold.

    ufh actuator advice!!

Is it just a 2 port manifold with this one room on? If so you can just remove the actuators and leave the pin valves open constantly. The system will then go on and off when the pump stops spinning. If you have more then 2 port you'll most likely need to purchase a new actuator. We supply these...

UFH screed vs chipboard overlay performance comparison.

It's usually using battens and then kingspan / celotex. You need to make sure your joists can hold the additional weight of the screed as well.

UFH screed vs chipboard overlay performance comparison.

The best way for you to go would be a screed infill between the joists as you can then run both systems off the same manifold. If you went for the spreader plates you'd need a seperate manifold as screed runs at a lower temperature then spreader plates.
