Firstly I don't install boilers, I'm not a plumber, I commission, service and repair, hopefully anyway. Was called out to a Firebird Enviromax Condensing Boiler after it had sooted up. Boiler is about 3 or 4 years old. Cleaned it out, changed nozzle, checked oil pressure. Still burning black...
Ye I'm told the Boiler is probably kettling ,ye I know what you mean Best about the stats, years ago I've saw warmflow boilers with imit stats fitted, but now seems to be their own. Just a hassle having to stock or go get a warmflow stat, if things were kept more universal, be easier all round.
Good evening, about 2 years ago a customers high limit stat was tripping every so ofte,n not a sealed system. I turned the circulating pump speed up to 3 from 2 and seemed to cure it , until recently. Tripping again and hes now saying when he turned the Boiler on didn't heat water but rads were...
Good evening do any of you have any experience of the new firebird low nox boilers with eclo. Never seen 1 before but went to commission it. The co2 is meant to be 12.5 with a conventional flue. This boiler had a balanced flue with a plume kit fitted and the top bend that points the plume away...
Just looking a bit of advice, been looking hwos website, spares as far as control boxes, electrodes, leads, photocells, what do you need for domestic properties. I don't do commercial.
I'm looking a oil priming pump for difficult air locks after a customer runs out of oil, new work etc. Is the Gok oil priming pump the 1 to get or is there anything else suitable out there, many thanks.
Good morning, I've partially asked this question before but I will ask again, has anyone had any experience of Ital oil pumps, they do both the r40 and rdb so you would only have to stock 1 type of pump for riello. The other thing is this can definitely be done but I've never did it myself, it's...
Hi was just looking at the select range from hwos particularly the motorized valves and circulating pumps. I service and repair oil boilers but don't do any plumbing work as I'm not a plumber but I have done oftec 101, have a fga etc. What I'd like to ask is can you replace a 5mtr head...
I think we all agree that riello oil pumps could be a lot better, especially the ones made a few years back. Danfoss are better and I did see a danfoss fitted to a riello before but being honest didn't look closely enough to see how it was done. I see that ital oil pumps are meant to be a direct...
Thanks for all the input, safety first. While I service, repair oil boilers , replace circulating pumps , motorized valves etc I'm not a plumber so don't get involved. I have done oftec 101 and serviced and repaired quite a lot in the last 11 years. His plumber friend coming out tonight, I still...
