    After turning stop tap fully open, and thinking the sound was perhaps less as a result, I would say it's actually as it was...So, could it be that, as suggested earlier, it is a result of the PRV working, or any other thoughts? As before, any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Sorry I don't know that, but what I would say that even with the PRV the pressure is still quite high. What sort of price would a "high quality" PRV come in at (excl labour)
