Boiler I. D. For high reading on analysers

Not flueless, open flued such as a back boiler.

Boiler I. D. For high reading on analysers

Depends on the appliance, if it’s an open flued boiler it would be I.D. If it’s a fan flue’d room sealed appliance it’s at risk. Have a look at the GIUSP

Recommendations for new combi boiler install

I usually fit Baxi, the platinum/duo tec are tried and tested. Quite big and heavy (like the CDI) but they are solid and well made. There’s also the 600 series which are small and whisper quiet but they’ve are only a couple of years old so can’t talk on their longevity. Just my opinion with...

    Mixing metals on compression fittings

Nothing wrong with wrapping PTFE round an olive, it works just fine.

Recommendations for new combi boiler install

Only decent Worcester are the classic CDI’s, the new compacts aren’t very good in my opinion. You will find plenty of people who like Worcester but overall for the price, they aren’t value for money and there are better options out there. As mentioned above gas safe have made it clear you...

    CONCERN AROUND PLUMBING METHOD

Most of you would hate new builds then. Plastic fittings are perfectly acceptable under floors and that pipe work is fine imo. Yes copper is more accepted as the better method but they haven’t done anything ‘wrong’ here.

    E133 best price engineer?

Ask around friends/family if they know anyone. Or just have a look on Facebook/google and have a read through the reviews.

    E133 best price engineer?

Depends on the model as long a short it’s not a GA I wouldn’t get Baxi out for anything other than a heat exchanger. E133 can be some of the easiest fixes going

    combi boilers choice

Another vote for baxi. Duo/plat are great boilers. Big and heavy but reliable and stood the test of time. Vogue is a decent boiler but they’ve changed the blocks from brass to plastic which degrades the boiler massively in my opinion. Not overly impressed with Valliant/glow worm

Vauxhall Vans for Plumbing and Heating

Doesn’t matter what van you get, it’s a pure lottery. I have a custom which has been perfect and others have broken down out of the forecourt brand new. Just make sure there’s a service history and you can see the work that’s been done.

Advise on wages for bathroom fitter.

Genuinely, you would be getting more stacking shelves in Aldi. Have a word with them, you deserve way more based on what you say you do.

    Baxi diverter valve actuator issue

I do love Baxi boilers but this model is a heap. Tonnes of issues with them.

    Baxi diverter valve actuator issue

Best get a GSR engineer in. Doesn’t matter if your ‘handy’ removing the case on this boiler means it needs checking by someone competent afterwards.

What are good employed GSR engineers being paid these days?

Jesus that’s some crappy pay. Obviously I can’t speak on the wages for your your area but your getting 20k for this work is shameful imo.
