in the past I opened the valve on the tap fully open , then put some grips on the tap head an keep turning open the head will snap off , then remove the valve an replace with these tap reviver kits

is your boiler pressure gauge set higher than 1.5 bar , The system may be slightly over-pressured , the increase in temperature results in an increase in pressure, this might push it over its limit and again it will cut-out ?
hi if you turn the taps on an you get a sudden burst of pressure then flow goes low , this could be a faulty stop tap or pressure reducing valve on incoming water supply , I would get water board first then plumber , happy new year!

for everybody to help you further can we have a picture of the tap or taps with the problem an what type of system you have ( combi , gravity system , unvented ) - this could be a possible fault with your taps, ceramic valves faulty
i would get a few 15mm x 16mm brass compression fittings just in case, you can get them from most city plumbing merchants , if not hit a 15mm pushfit fitting on with hammer if you have a nightmare as suggested :)
