    Ideal Logic 30kw boiler

Ideal’s are the worst boiler on the market. Heat exchanger gets blocked up very easily. Out of all the boiler i work on the Bosch are the least problematic.

Baxi Neta-tec works on water but intermittant on ch heating

It does sound like the boiler isn’t modulating correctly. Either it needs adjusting or you haven’t used the correct o-ring for that boiler as the o-ring is restricted to allow a set amount of gas through depending on boiler output.

Air Lock/Blocked Cold Feed Boiling Issues - HELP!

Its something to do with the hot and cold water mixing at the neutral point over time. Also any blockages around these areas will create positive and negative pressures causing the pump to draw in air or pump over into the header tank respectively.

Thermal Imaging to detect central heating leak?

The camera will pick up the heat from the pipes, but it should pick up any spread of heat from any water loss.

    Baxi 105e advice please

Thermistor readings will vary depending on the temp of the water. Ring Baxi and ask what the reading should be and check the temp of the water with your thermometer against the reading of the NTC. Make sure you pull the wire of the NTC to get a reading.

you can clean the PRV if you want, but will need to drain down before hand. If your re-charging the vessel you will be doing this anyway.

    jambo

Do away with the pump and the tank. Mains water fills up the tank expanding the baffle inside the cylinder. Once a draw off is opened it releases its charge giving high flow rate. Put this before the unvented cylinder so it just works the hot water. If there water pressure is really bad you can...

    Crap biasi boiler

Easiest way to check is run the boiler in heating mode on low temp to get any heat out of the boiler. Once this is done turn the hot water to max and run the tap. Put your hand carefully (as it may be hot) onto the flow pipe (usually the 22mm pipe under the boiler) and if it gets warm you know...

    leaking pressure relief valve

Try running the heating at maximum temp, you should soon see the pressure gauge rising to 3bar. This indicates the vessel need charging, when cleaning the PRV make sure you clean the inside of the valve as well. You get bits of sludge on the seating which can sometimes stop you getting a good seal.
