I'm in the same boat, always been a sole trader but been advised to go ltd, for the above reasons.
Plus points I see are, maybe a reduction in tax and if things happens to go pete tong, they cannot take your house. Downside seems to be difficult to get credit in your early days of trading...
I wouldn't get too upset as its only been a week. Most people are use to 30 day terms, especially when it's business to business. I had one the other day which took about 3 months, what's cocks
I have no issue with personally being taxed at source. But the issue come for me when Iv got a few subbies. For example, If i get paid 200/per person. I would recieve £160 from a contractor, and £40 would go into my hmrc 'account'. Then if I pay them 200, I have to pay their cis of £40, and pay...
Yes you need to be cis registered contractor unless you thinking annual payments will be under £1000, in which case you have to apply for an exception.

Could be the flow through the cylinder needing to be balanced down. But it's unusual for all radiators to completely stop working. Its possible you have a knackered pump or maybe debris if your system
So many wrongs here already. You obviously don't fully understand this type of system and I know many engineers who wouldn't touch this kind of system. Best getting a specialist engineer - it really will save you in the long run
99/100 times I remove the meter as its so easy to do. If I'm feeling particularly rough I will do a quick soldered joint if I'm happy little air has entered the pipework. But officially not
Return is good providing your feed and vent is on the gravity side. Sounds like your pump is goosed or you have a blockage. Or am I misunderstanding the post?
You will require some form of heat exchanger, or an intergas boiler.
I can honestly never fathom why people get such a rock on over running back boiler stoves. Logs are expensive, (nat) gas is cheap. Installation is expensive and system control is minimal. I'm a firm believer of them being nice...
Or the surge of pressure coming back after tap being shut and activating the flow switch. Iv seen this before with combis.
Like you say, the pump will pull air through the vent or any other open taps/ball valves with no dedicated feed. So many are installed wrong.
