    Air admittance valve issues

Just saw all your responses in red. Thanks so much. I think reverting to an air vented system sounds like the best option. Thanks.

    Air admittance valve issues

We did initially get roof repaired the November before but it started leaking again so that’s why we went with the AAV in the April. In hindsight I wish we would have persevered with the roof.

    Air admittance valve issues

Hi all Our externally vented ‘traditional’ stack vent (through the roof) kept leaking through the roof with rain water so to solve the issue for good we cut off the stack pipe in the loft and fitted an air admittance valve and got a roofer to patch the roof in late April. All was fine until...

New macerator works for a week and then trips power. Help

I will call an electrician or a macerator engineer (if such a person exists?!). Thanks for taking the...

New macerator works for a week and then trips power. Help

hi all I’m having a new en suite fitted and a couple of weeks ago had the Homac 400 macerator fitted for the toilet waste (the plumber took the waste vertically up into loft and across bedroom to stack pipe). The macerator worked for about a week but one day upon flushing it cut out and tripped...
