hi guys, came across my first valiant combi. I couldn't figure out how to get high fire and low fire to check my ratios and co2.
There wasn't a manual.
Any advice?
I'm used to Worcester boilers.

Thanks Scott. Is it me but there's too much electronics digital buttons. I've looked at the manual and I still can't find how to set it to high n low fire?
thanks

I was close I managed to get to the installers level. And it displayed from 00 -80 odd. I stay this where I select 17 then I'm in the p codes?

● Press and hold the top 2 buttons above the + and - for 5 seconds
● On release scroll down using the + and - to installer level then press select
● 00 should appear, using the + button go to code 17 then press ok
● Scroll down using the + and - to test program (p) and then press select
● Scroll down to check programs and press select
● Using + and - scroll to p.01 (max) co2 reading 9.2 +/- 1.0
● Press select to come out of max and using + and - scroll to P.02 (min) select
● Co2 reading of 9.2 +/- 1.0
● When finished scroll back to user display
Please note that the minimum setting cannot be adjusted as this is auto adjusted dependant on the maximum being set correctly.
To set the maximum, locate the small black cap at the top of the gas valve and gently remove it to reveal a brass throttle.

Clockwise decreases the co2 and anti clockwise increases the co2.

Hi they used to say as a last resort you could discharge the D2 pipework at high level and turn it back to the wall. Similar to a combi boiler. I have just looked back through the regs this seems to have changed and it isn't mentioned now. It now mentions if at high level it should be discharged...

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

I have an ideal vogue max S18 boiler and I’m considering fitting auto balancing TRVs, my question relates to the boilers pump. I see a boiler pump menu for either 70% or 100%, so, is the pump set at either one of two fixed speed percentages or does the pump actually vary speed, (modulate)...
