I am looking to a gas engineering course which apparently is a Logic Accredited Course and at the end of it i will receive a logic certificate. And i then do a re-assessment every 5 years.
Can anyone tell me is this certificate a recognised qualification and will it allow me to register with Gas Safe and start their probationary period.

Have you any past training or plumbing experience?

yes as long as you pass all the relevant courses that you have applied for you must undergo training first before you can be assessed on a logic accredited course

I am going to be completing BPEC Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing and a BPEC Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing - you will also complete and receive a WRAS Certificate and an Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate. And hoping to complete Gas with intention to register with Gas Safe but never heard of logic certificate so didn't believe it was correct.

You would have to complete level 2 first and to complete that, you will need to be working with a qualified engineer for a year and a day and complete a work based portfolio. This is before you can get gas safe qualified.

after you have passd you traning at college you will be assesssed at a logic accredited course if you pass this you can apply for gas safe.

Thank you well once i have completed the courses i am hoping to have a workplace lined up to enable i complete my portfolio. appreciate the advice

Don't wait until the end of the two years to get a job. That's what eveelse does. Go look for one Now. Start working weekends, or take it full time. College will adapt.
