I love Boxing Day. All the pressure and excitement has calmed down. Staying in my pj's watching rubbish and eating leftovers. Cold turkey and beef are far superior in my opinion. And as an added bonus the mighty Crystal Palace are on sky sports later!
Kids are quieter today too which is always nice.

How are you spending your Boxing Day?

Going to wash the van and clean my fishtank.

Then I'll be ironing a shirt for Deans funeral tomorrow.

Kids and grandkids round for a buffet type dinner.....might be able to park up some more beers in the fridge once some that food is cleared lol then just chillaxing later on.......enjoy your day whatever you are doing....regards Turnpin:wink:

Somebody bought me a case of moretti beers yesterday. Shows how little thought they gave my gift! But it made me think of you instantly!!

Off to Wealdstone FC v Maidenhead, have a couple of beers with friends.

Then home to see how the wife's got on with the decorating of our bedroom, well she had yesterday off cooking for us all.

Just back from walk with kids around st Anne's park in Dublin. Used t b owned by Guinness family. It was the garden off their house. Feed d ducks throw sticks in rivers, all that stuff.Big bowl of porridge when I got back
Unfortunately off couch shopping with d missus now.
Then a few pints later in d brothers house.
Another Xmas day survived!

Might just be his way of telling you to man up Adam......go on get some down your neck lol festive regards Turnpin:8:

Ah! The same one who wound you up last year by staying all day and non stop eating.

A much slower pace to the day today. Big tidy up. Put the grand daughters trike together. Find a phone to pick up tomorrow morning, sorted. Hit the leftover chicken and trifle. Quick chit, shower and shave and then hit the pubs for the rest of the day.

Looking forward to tomorrow, it's the lads "sports" day. Pool, darts and doms. Pound a man. Point a win. Winner takes all. Starts 12.30. Meeting at Greggs ;)

what fish do you keep? Funny how many plumbers are also fishkeepers!

In my first plumbing company, I think it was three out of the four plumbers were also fishkeepers.

I have fish, but just a few in the pond outside.

Copper pipes, I think its fair to say, is not what it used to be, the copper is getting thin while the cost is going up. Meanwhile, plastic Pushfit seems to be getting better and better, cost and convenience was always better, but now the quality is to, have we reached a stage where plastic will...

The fittings below are for a mixer bar attached to a self contained shower. i.e not a wall. The attaching screws have snapped. I could get two new brackets, dismantle that existing one and start again or I could try and re attach via those screws, removing the broken ones from the plate and wall...
