Default Strange jobs you have done.

Hi, sorry if this has been done before but what is the strangest job you have ever done?

Mine was many years ago just after my apprentiship when I was sent to replace a faulty electric shower fitted inside a cubicle. Now that maybe does not sound too strange to most people but the said cubicle was situated in a Massage parlour. Whilst I had the shower disconnected and the water turned off a very scantily clad female asked if the cubicle could still be used. On being told that it would be of for about 20minutes she said it could not wait that long and off she went back into a room. She came back out a few moments later followed by a very greasy, very old and very naked man who looked like the Benny Hill character Fred Scuttle. She then went to a nearby sink and filled a bucket with water, then told him to get into the cubicle. She then washed him using a large sponge whilst saying how embarrassed she was. I did not know where to look and found it very difficult not to laugh.
After I had finished and he was long gone the girl came back through and made mea cup of tea. Whilst drinking it and casually chatting with her the parlour owner came in and straight away asked if I was finished.when I told him I was he took the tea cup out of my hand and promptly ushered me out the door. He must have thought I was stopping the girl from earning him cash.

It is certainly one job that I will never forget.

I never went there again after I was stripped naked against my will and sponge showered in a plastic cubicle with another man in the room!!!!!

Never got offered a freebie although the girl was very pretty. In the hour or so that I was in there she changed her clothes 3 times so I guess her customers had different tastes.

The parlour is no longer there but it was called Fingertips and it was in the Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh.

Can't really compete with that Mick c!
Only one I had, again a good number of years ago, I was requested to install & connect up a large commercial 3 bowl sink & couple of other bits but it had to be done over night. The instruction were from Mc Donald's (used to do a lot of work for them at the time) to drive down to Dover to meet the P&O Fantasia ferry which had just had a refit in Germany & had there first on board restaurant. Got down there a midnight drove van straight on to the deck of an empty boat & went down to find out what they used on board ships for waste pipes. It was strange aluminium push fit pipe, thank goodness for 2" McAlpine couplings, I say!
One last thing was once back on deck we could not work out why van was now facing the right way round to drive straight off until we found out the boat had been out into the harbour turned around & come back in without us noticing a thing.

Fingertips I use to go there a couple of times a week at least, it was great, the girls were, never mined........oops !!!!

I am not sure about the strangest but the best job I had was in a gym on ladies day, to replace an electric 3 phase water heater thermostat. Job took ten minutes but I was there for hours

Strangest job; I was once an accountant, such a bad career choice to make at 16. Eight years later, I am plenty wiser, doing something much more enjoyable.

Did once have a job refurbishing an house, which had been previously been let to Polish/Hungarians. They had used the house as a brothel, needless to say, it wasn't one of the better ones. About five mattresses in each room, and way too many used condoms. A very nice house now though, even if I do say so myself.

Fitted a boiler in a clubhouse o a local campsite, sent the lad off to bleed the rads when refilling, he came back a few minutes later with a grin like a Cheshire cat, in the bar area there were beds set up, loads of mirrors, hot tub, dancing pole. Turns out it was a members only campsite for swingers, both of us put out names down for bar work but to no avail! Though not sure the missus would have allowed it.

Worked in a convent once, not strange but I kept myself amused by leaving the seat up every time I discovered the toilets.
