need gas sizing tables made for UK??

i have posted a job on vworker for anyone who wants to write the tables for the uk/eu gas sizing using the main run method?

Your request doesn't make sense. You work here, you do your acs, you work within the guidelines laid down. You work down under, you do the Australian equivalent of the acs, you work within the guidelines laid down.

Still not sure what you're asking or why you're asking for it but your best bet would be to take a look here...

That pretty much covers it all. However, I go back to my original point. To work on gas in a country you have to be qualified to work under that countries legislation. For example, I live and work in Northern Ireland, which comes under the UK scheme, but occasionally travel down to work in Eire, which doesn't. To do this I had to do a mutual recognition course to enable me to work there. So, if you have guys coming to work for you down under, they should be trained, tested and qualified to work on your gas installations, and likewise when you send barstaff up to us!

Thanks for the link, yeah they can only be registered in Australia, which means just working under a licensed plumber, unless they do the gas refresh course, fairly easy stuff. find a leak in gas line, commission a storage hot water and answer questions on a computer, using the regs. My son could do it! while looking for these tables on the net, i see how much more you guys take gas seriously. The basic gas plumber (type A ) in aust, doesnt learn half as much as you guys. commercial licensing is more like yours (type b) you can see by this link of our regs igs.nigc.ir/IGS/OTHER/NZS-5601.1.PDF (this is exacally the same as aust)

We have a bit of a mining boom here and there is not enough labour to go around.

IGEM still use the general UK method? i saw it somewhere, ive looked at alot of there publications and cant find anything like the tables, you can see the tables on page 140 of the above link and the method of main run sizing around that page.

That crossover paper has to be resat inline with your ACS, your better off sitting your GID/GIS.

CCTS, Tamar St. Good people and they looked after me for my crossover paper and then when I had to renew my ACS's. The only complaint I have is the money I spent(wasted) on the crossover paper would have easily payed for GID/GIS which is a open ticket at the moment.

If you don't already have it get yourself a copy of IS EN 1949(LPG REGS)if your going near any mobile/static homes in the South.

Aye, I did mine with ccts too, that's probably why Gerry accommodated us and put me through the crossover, or mutual recognition as It's properly known, afterwards when we unexpectedly picked up contracts down below. I'll be honest Gary, you impressed me a few threads ago. Most of the gas guys I've come across in the republic don't inspire much confidence! I don't do any domestic stuff, commercial only, so that could be why!

Thank you, Im Ex BG from before they ruined it, so I have my moments.

The South has some very good gasmen but their self taught and out numbered by the fruitloops as there is no gas training and sparks wire heating systems. It's a 10 day course to be a registered gasman and their putting people on the dole on to the courses, I was going to go on the dole till I found out they'd just put me out to work again.

I don't get it, why can't you just convert the axis, it will be the same table?
