Hi guys. I’m currently doing some site work and as I don’t leave my tools on site I’m looking for a good tool case/box on wheels if possible. Have any of you lot got anything you’d recommend? Cheers
Looks interesting and innovative but falls short imo. Integrated rubber washer to basin waste is good as you can't knock it off and loose it down the back of the carcass but the rubber is thin and less forgiving than my "go to" macalpine . It also fails on the integrated connection to waste...
Never really bothered too much with my manual swager but quite like this quick and tidy result, available in new year apparently.
Nicked off Pb Plumber's instagram account, hate that guy....guns too big and van far too tidy, clearly plenty of time on his hands :)
Been plumbing a while now using Footprint Grips and a selection of spanners. Is there a spanner available that will easily hold a Tee compression fitting while tightening centre nut ?
Everyone needs one of these, not just for your tools, it is 24hr tracking regardless of what property you are trying to keep hold of, just connect it to a cheap tool such as a torch and leave it in PLAIN Sight, it WILL be stolen with your precious personal items, and you WILL find them. Prices...
I need such a spanner to remove a failed IH, and to install a replacement; in a domestic hot water cylinder made by Opus (Cyprus).
I am aware that in general the distance across the flats may vary somewhat from brand to brand, despite all having 1.5" BSP threads.
In my case, both old and new IH...
Merry Christmas boys and girls. :)
Thanks for all those who joined in the Christmas fun over the past few weeks.

I bought a torch a few years ago that uses EN417 butane/propane cylinders.
As someone who only uses a torch now and again, the torch has been fine on smaller copper pipe but struggles on 22mm, especially in the cold.
I have seen an adaptor by Monument (437a) which I think should allow me to...
Seem to be quite a few making them nowadays... Saxon, Shark but don't want to fork out for Bosch if I can help it, just a fair value assorted pack for timber/plastic. Which are decent?
Ordered a rip off makita drill a while back and used it for the first time today, its solid and performs better than my apprentices ryobi so if anybody is on a tight budget figured this might help you out. Just be warned it took ages to get here as the company ships them from china, they're...
Just looking at various 22/15mm secondhand benders and notice many come without guides.
Are guides generally interchangeable between different brands or are they specific to a particular brand/model?
In use, is there any difference between alloy and steel guides ie is one type considered...
Im a plumber mostly small bore houses etc. I have never used the Knipex Cobra Pliers Wrench. And dont know whether to buy a 7 inch or 10 inch. Hard to tell from picture on computer. Can anyone advise ?
Looking to buy some Extra Deep Sockets for use on taps instead of box spanners..The fixing bolts on the taps in my house are 8mm and 10mm, so I was wondering what are the other common sizes? Trying to decided whether to buy a full set of if I only really need a couple?
Evening all,
As per the title does anyone know where I can source an extension bar for hole saws?
Scenario today: using 54mm hole saw through approx 300 mm wall made up with plasterboard with a ply backing, cavity, a layer of osb, insulation and then a brick outside wall
(Obviously aware you...
