Hi. Asking for a relative whose neighbour seemingly DIYed an oil tank replacement. She was aware of 'oil' smells at regular times in the weeks following this, although that has since died down. Is there a way of checking whether the installation was registered, a bit like boiler installs? Thanks.

The use of inserts on 10mm rolls of plastic covered copper. Brass inserts are available for this purpose, but does anyone use them. They have an O/D of 7.7mm where as the I/D of all of the coils available to me are 8.6 min.
