We have an oil delivery booked for Friday but we ran out earlier today. We topped the tank with 150L from containers, bled the first boiler from the Allen key until the oil ran free and it fired up fine.
Did the same on the second one but that had an E9 over temp error. We reset the thermostat...
Has any installer/user any feedback on these?.
I have a SIP space heater and fitted a new matching spec oil nozzle as part of a service on it.
I wanted to check the pump pressure with the new nozzle and its difficult to be sure what port to connect to.

How simple is it to replace the expansion vessel hose? Do I simply turn the boiler off, drain the boiler and swap hoses, using some PTFE tape?
Looking for a plumber to pipe up Rayburn to an R type neutraliser (and alter pipework to connect existing oil boiler). Job in SG8 OQE.
The job is fairly straightforward with reasonable access for pipework in roof void. Cylinder might need raising on a platform which I will build (I'm a chippy)...

I have a customer who wants a modern oil boiler fitting to replace his ancient one. The big problem is he's divided his house into two with a holiday cottage next door. I'm not sure but surely that's against Building Regs and he needs two boilers?. Can anyone advise me?

The boiler (480k, serviced every year) will not turn off at the end of the 3rd timed cycle each day, even though the green 'on' light is out. This happens when set to 'heat and hot water'. Switching to 'hot water' only, turns it off. Engineer called three times and has replaced the control...
We have recently moved into a propery which has this Tiffel oil boiler installed.
The boiler kicks in when I have the setting on water only.
the screen shows 14 degrees
It may need the boiler programming or maybe another issue.
