can somebody explain to me the reason why you have to do a tightness test then purge and then complete another tightness test on a lpg system rather than purging and then just doing one tightness test. How help will be much appreciated and so I get a better understanding. Thanks

Installed 2 days ago, Worcester 4000. Haven’t seen anything like this before, any thoughts. Personally I would have gone horizontal with an offset bend in the roof space ( to get minimum distance from boundary) and terminated at the gable end.

HI, Ideal Logic flue fall is 1.5 degree, as per manufacturers instructions. Did you know that they have an allowance? The upper allowance is 2 degree, but this is not in the instructions. The question is if the flue fall is say 1.9 degree, does it comply with the manufacturers instructions...

A LL cert costs around £50 in my area for 2 appliances. I find that I am really struggling to complete it in an hour to make it worthwhile for me. At the same time, I don't want to be cutting corners like those charging £30 and in and out in 15 min. I just did one recently that took me 2 hours...

What do you guys do when you encounter dead birds behind a gas fire? Clear them and carry on as usual or fit something on top of the chimney to stop this happening again?

An OVO fitter installed a gas meter and said we would smell gas for 24-48 hours. I took a look in the meter box and saw a load of putty and sealant around pipe that goes into the property. Just wondered if this looks like it's been done correctly? Or if we should get it looked at.
