    Default Nest to Vaillant

    Hi Guys , just got myself a Nest Gen3 thermostat, but am a bit bewildered with these connections on my boiler.
    Its a Vaillant Eco Tec plus 837 with theVRC 470f controller.Nest to Vaillant-img_5242.jpg
    Any help would be appreciated , I am a electrician but not on boilers.

    Sorry to say unless your gas safe you can't get access to the pcb as its breaking the law
    IMPORTANT:
    Carbon Monoxide can be produced when ANY fuel is burnt, including oil, gas, wood and coal.

    Want gas safety or boiler repair advice? :
    Please supply your Gas Safe / Oftec / Hetas Number, DIYers, odd job people and have a go heroes need not apply, and remember any fuel burning appliance can kill

    Hi turbo, frustrating as it is, it is all to do with casings forming a safe seal when removed and replaced.

    If you have a vr70, why go for nest? They will fight each other

    Plan is to remove the vr 470

    Plan should be to get a gas safe engineer in.
