blocked 10mm plastic pipes to rads

Discuss blocked 10mm plastic pipes to rads in the Central Heating Forum at Plumbers Forums; tried mains pressure water,a foot pump,blocked any idea's cause it got me....

    Default blocked 10mm plastic pipes to rads

    tried mains pressure water,a foot pump,blocked any idea's cause it got me.

    You could try putting put a compressor on it but even that is not guaranteed. Usually quicker and easier re pipeing it if you can.

    If it's old 10mm pipe it could be single barrier & it'll block up again, replace it if you can.

    your right,but the length of the runs are terrible,not going to be easy,skirts of, behind walls etc.

    Is there a chance that the pipes are kinked behind the rads where they exit the wall?
    sometimes when the pipes come up the way behind the rads and are then brought through the wall and then routed back down to the valves they can become kinked especially when a bit of heat reaches them and they become soft.

    i use a stiff c able to rod pipe work i'm hitting resistance about 4 mtrs in could be kink,a fitting,a blockage..?it will not budge what ever it is
