Re: Ferroli Modena 80e
I'd isolate all external controls cloud! The boiler hex is double tubed, the pump doesn't come on for hot water so there's no way the heating can IMHO

Re: Ferroli Modena 80e
Is it the integral one? If so the switch on them gets doddgy! no click to let you know you're in the right position
Can you not put the control to hot water only on these?"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity." Albert Einstein

Is the timer integral?

Re: Ferroli Modena 80e
Disconnect the mother! and see if the complaint's the same? if not then get a new timer .... ! If it is then that'll be interesting to sort out imho
They're double expensive but I'm sure Euroboilers do a cheaper version!

Re: Ferroli Modena 80e
Try turning the heating flow or return iso off under the boiler and see what the reaction is? If the boiler has a pump overrun then there's a chance that there'll be some residue heat pushed into the rads, otherwise they're some obscure demand for heat being generated somewhere!!! IMO
