    Default hot water tank

    not getting any hot water from tank , heating system is in large house made into flats top floor flat has a hot water cylinder with coil inside , the multi point boiler sysem is heating the radiators in the flat ok but not the hot water cylinder , there is a thermostat on the tank linked to a celonoid valve which i am told by an electrician is working ok , could the coil in the tank have a blockage ?? or couid there be some sort of other problem, can anyone help !

    Feed and expansion tank could have run dry. Ball valves can stick in the shut position causing this fault. If you have access to the loft or place where it is, move up and down a couple of times and should sort out the problem, hopefully.

    Could be a faulty 2/3port valve..
    GSR engineer based in south east London

    are you getting cold water from hot taps or no water from hot taps?
