Default Baxi duo tech combi 40he

    Hi
I have been asked to look at a boiler that another engineer has opted out of, the combi in question has had the PCB changed and it now has a fault code E168 up constantly, this code is not listed in the manual. Have any of you fellows heard of this code and what its meaning is. I am starting to suspect the new PCB however the supplier apparently will not take it back.
    Any help appreciated
    Billy Bell

E168 Is a pcb fault code but can also mean a faulty earth either on the house or internal to the boiler. Gasman may confirm this. Baxi/potterton tech desk told me this a while back

E168 is indeed a duff pcb, check all your earths for continuity/security as mbear suggests, also check for reversed polarity
