Gledhill GB10
Hi
We have a Gledhill GB10 which is only three years old. There has been a consistent fault in other houses in our area which results in the boiler leaking and we have been told this is the seel behind the heat exchange unit. Gladhill however do not make this part. British gas have said we need a new boiler. Does anyone know if their is a specialist plummer out there that may still have this part. We are moving next year and really dont want to have to replace this if we dont have to.
Thanks
Lara

Re: Gledhill GB10
Hi
Thanks for your response. Yes i have the company closed down and reestablished itself recently and they no longer make or carry thwe smaller parts for these boilers my only hope is if someone out there still carries spares or has experience of using something else to fix the fault

Re: Gledhill GB10
Fun the pdf for the boiler with a list of parts ... http://www.gledhill-spares.net/docum...dBoil-Iss5.pdf Check out p38 onwards ... Never seen this boiler b4 but quick look says Gledhill could well have used universal parts and chucked their name to it! Maybe someone on here can recognise the heatx and advise an alternative ...

Re: Gledhill GB10
I've taken a look as I have a lot of old Gledhill parts stowed away in my shed. However it's mainly for their thermal stores, and I don't have what you require.
I think BG could be telling you the truth....a new boiler may be your only option.
