no hot water or heating
Hi. Boiler stopped working. Fault light indicates, blocked condensate drain or flame failure. Its not the condensate drain, as iv disconected it and still wont work. The boiler kicks in for 10 seconds, stops and starts a few times then the fault light comes on. Any ideas????

Would help to know what boiler it is. Try spinning the pump.

could be aps at fault you really need a gsr engineer

When running hot water only (heating off) does the same happen, or does it not fire up

Its just started working again. Could the flue have froze up? The temperature outside has risen to the tropical highs of plus 3. What's the aps gasman?

aps>air pressure switch ,flue very unlikely to freeze up as flue stat would have to be re set for it to start working

APS is air presure switch.
