    Post Baxi 105e heating problem

Hi. I have a Baxi 105e instant combi
Over the past week the heating won't come on, instead the DHW
fires up even though the taps are'nt being run , the DHW and pre-heat work fine
This happened a few times, I turned the boiler off for a while and it worked OK.
but now its permanent, also the pump seems to run for a long time.

    Help its cold

sounds like a jammed/failed diverter valve, time to call in your local rgi to fix it for you.

could be something else as well but unless you can see the boiler and do your diagnostic checks then can be hard to say so best to call in a technician rather then try yourself, however be aware (bad news) 105e instants are getting on and the instants are reknown for failed expn vessels and all the problems this entails, leaks etc so when i come across one nowadays my normal advice is to start saving for a new one as the repairs can cost more in the long term than its worth.
