F and E tank

    Default F and E tank

    Hi, I've got an F and E tank in loft expanding so much its flowing over the top of tank from time to time, could anyone tell me what level the ball valve should be set at. I just think its to high. Thanks

    hi approx 4 gals in the tank , that's why they are 10/4 tanks 10 gallon actual capacity designed for 4 gallons nominal

    Set the ball cock so that the level is about 1/2 the way from the bottom of the tank to the overflow.

    If the problem has been going on for some time you may need to add more corrosion inhibitor.
