Default What concealed thermostatic diverter, body jets, rain and hand held should l fit?

    Hi all
I will be fitting the above for a client, she had bought a set from an online specialist, see other thread, best thing they did was a refund! Foreign HC inlet thread, valve faceplate could not be secured (relied on silicone), body jets had backnut which was inaccessible when tiled and instructions were poor.
In your experiences, what manufacturers would you recommend on a budget of around £400?
Pfister in USA look well made, but can't find UK stockist.
Grohe are well reputed, but around three times budget
Just need good quality, with instructions rather than a Krypton factor test, that can be fitted leak free and serviceable in use.
    Not much to ask.......
    Cheers

for what you want you need to go to one of the decent suppliers and for that reason i don't think you will get close to your budget

    Thanks Tom
The client thought it was a decent supplier, double the ebay cost, but you have no idea where it is sourced or their mark up. What do you think would be a ball park for that set up?

    maybe around £600+

Make sure they have decent water pressure for the body jets and they are plumbed in correctly, seen too many where all the water comes out the top two and dibbles out the others

Also check how they want the diverter set up working, what controls what etc
    Regards

    Cheers Tom
Pressure fine flow rate 18 l/m, so good too
Got their requirements on controls, they never realised it would be rain and jets on one, hairwash on the other, and can't have all three on at once.
Doing a 22 pressure loop to prevent last jet dribbles!
Pfister in USA do a good range so you can pick and mix, good prices too....not here though.
First thoughts were Grohe and Bristan, but the kits don't lend to bespoking a system, and Grohe costs are Bentley money!
I'll keep looking, used to fit a lot of Pegler taps and TMV 2's will see what they offer.
They were good quality, sturdy and spares were always there if needed.
Would prefer to get separate components rather than a kit of misfits from god knows where.
What would be your go to manufacturer supplier?
    Cheers

You can do what you want with decorative stop cocks and separate diverters if you want
