Thanks for the suggestion, I have to use exsisting waste as supplied by the manufacturer as it incorporates the cable operated pop up plug. I forgot to mention earlier that this shower is one of those shower / steam cabinet/ body jet units. Its pretty good with the lights, radio, MP3 and telephone connections and it looks pretty good. There is just no space beneath it. (2 inches ) . Ill keep thinking about it.
