the black box with the rocker switch has it got a box sticking out of it that looks like its screwed on with 1 screw if it has the fuses are under that. the only other way (risky) is to make sure the shower is turned of at the switch and tape the switch up with a note on it DO NOT USE, if its a pull cord tape the cord to the ceiling, when you remove the cover off the shower use a circuit tester and make sure there is no power getting to the shower if its ok then remove the shower put a block connector on the wires and tape them up so you can not get to them by accident, when your putting the shower back test the wires again to make sure there safe to to reinstall the shower,

PS By rights the shower should have an RCD fuse box to run off and the rest of the house should be on an rcd box i would recommend the house be rewired if the box is that old then the wiring is
