Hi guys/gals
Fitted a new electric shower today and when i turned the water back on to test for leaks everything was fine untill i turned the cold tap on at the bath and when i turned it off again water came out of the shower head
I must add that the system the house runs on is gravity fed and the tank is in the cupboard in the bedroom opposite making it about the same height as the shower, now i was thinking that it is a pressure problem in that the pressure is too low when the taps are turned on at any time causing the shower valve to open.
If this is the case how do i increase the pressure? Would it work if the exp' tank was moved into the loft which would make it about 4-5ft higher than it is now or can i buy a little pump of sort to go onto the pipe that is supplying the shower?
